If it wasn't for Alexi Laiho's influence our band wouldn't even exist.
I got introduced to COB by Rocco back in 2003.
I was absolutely blown away.
The first show I ever attended was Children Of Bodom on new year's eve, 2005.
I walked out of that show a changed kid, knowing I wanted to do what I just witnessed at all cost.
I couldn't believe this very young dude was shredding his guitar like I've never seen before, banging his head like a maniac AND singing, all at the same time.
Me and Rocco started the Dreamshade project just months after that day, inspired by that very experience. We were just 16 and had no idea where this would take us.
Our first EP "To The Edge Of Reality", from 2008, was a total Bodom Worship experience. The rest is history.
I had the chance to personally meet all the members of COB except you. It's so sad that it will never happen.
You literally sparked the passion that pushed me to this day and I can't thank you enough, Alexi.
